Melting I

Melting I presents a table lamp whose base appears to be in a state of continuous transformation. Constructed from padded wire and cotton gauze, the form expands and spills onto the floor like a soft material that has momentarily lost its stability. Th e luminous sphere that crowns the piece functions as a clear and silent, almost lunar core, contrasting with the organic base that seems to melt around it. Between functional object and small sculpture, the work suggests a moment of transition: a body that softens, shifts and slowly reorganises itself under the effect of light and time.
