Heart

The artwork is presented as a textile piece with an organic contour, installed on a white wall. Its silhouette is irregular and asymmetrical, composed of multiple sections that are fluidly assembled without straight lines or sharp angles. The color palette remains within neutral tones: whites, creams, beiges, and some darker shades in localized areas. The piece is made up of different types of fabrics and textures that are articulated with each other through perceptible joins. There are areas with greater density, created with volumetric relief techniques—such as knots, loops, and tight weaves—while other parts present flatter, smoother surfaces. Some areas exhibit repetitive patterns, while others display a freer, more irregular design. In the central section, two large, smooth, oval blocks stand out, contrasting with more complex upper regions that have greater visual depth. The lower part contains smaller, irregular shapes that create a visual closure toward that end. The transitions between each section are achieved through sinuous, continuous edges. The white, homogeneous lighting highlights the differences in relief, projecting subtle shadows that help to interpret the volume and the layered composition. There are no additional elements or visible frame around the work, making the object feel like a direct extension of the wall. Heart is organized like a territory made of layers: a textile geography where each fragment links with another to construct a shared memory.
