Spores

Spores presents the surface as an expanding organism. From layers and folds of fabric that accumulate in a circular shape, the texture is organised into flows reminiscent of microscopic growth processes, such as fungal colonies or organic structures in formation. The undulations of the material generate an internal movement that transforms the piece into a kind of living landscape, where each fold seems to register a silent displacement or propagation. In this sense, the work functions as a metaphor for the invisible processes of nature: minimal forms that, as they multiply and spread, configure new geographies of matter.
