Golden core

Golden Core presents a side table as if it were an organism emerging from the ground. The legs, wrapped in cotton gauze padding, descend in soft, striated forms reminiscent of roots, supporting a golden surface that seems to sprout from them. The metal structure is thus partially concealed by a textile skin that introduces a tension between solidity and fragility. The gold of the upper surface suggests a precious core, as if the vital energy running through the ‘roots’ culminated in a luminous surface. Between furniture and sculpture, the piece transforms a domestic object into an organic presence, where growth, support and matter dialogue in a balance between imagined nature and handcrafted construction.
