Contexto
Cell presents the surface as an expanding field. On a flat support,
crocheted cotton gauze unfolds into organic shapes reminiscent of
cellular structures, membranes or microscopic maps in the process
of growth.
The braided lines and voids generate a rhythm that oscillates
between drawing and relief, transforming the textile texture into a
system of circulation and connection. The piece thus functions as a
kind of intimate cartography of matter: an enlarged fragment of
microscopic life where each thread seems to record a gesture, a
flow or a possible proliferation.
