TRAMA DE VAPOR

Trama de vapor explores the idea of boundaries as something permeable and in transformation. This screen, built on an iron structure covered with wool padding and cotton gauze, adopts an organic weave reminiscent of nets, membranes or cellular formations, as well as steam expanding in the air. The piece functions simultaneously as a spatial division and as a drawing in space. Its voids allow the gaze and the body to pass through the structure, generating a dynamic relationship between presence and absence. Rather than closing off or separating, the screen proposes a soft, porous threshold, where matter seems to be in the process of evaporation or continuous formation.
